Sholten Residence, Summerland, British Columbia

Architect: Brad McTavish

This lake-side glue laminated post and beam summer residence is located in Summerland, in southern B.C. Large open rooms with generous ground level and clerestory windows along the front and back of the structure carry the spirit of the inspiring landscape from the outside to the inside. The dramatic and generous lakeside overhang provides welcome sun protection, creating a sense of space and a pleasant area for outdoor lounging by the pool.”
